We are GTV. GTV has been a leader in New York post production since 1994. We had the first component digital betacam suite in New York and have evolved continuously to become a leader in High Definition post production as well. We offer a level of flexibility not often seen on the New York post production scene. You can work in our Avid suites with one of our talented editors or you can bring your own. Our Avids are available 24/7 with both in house and Avid phone based tech support. For High definition finishing we offer the Avid Adrenaline HD system and the Avid Symphony HD. High Definition can be a difficult and confusing process with its many frame rates and resolutions. We have worked hard to make sure that no matter what format you are shooting and no matter what format you need to output to, we already know how to do it. For those projects that require standard definition post production, there is no better system than the Avid Symphony. We have 2 Symphony suites and a Media Composer 12.0 which are configured to work in Digital Beta, Beta SP, DVC Pro and DVCam formats. We can up-res your SD material and down-res your HD material. We have in excess of 5 terrabytes of drive space available. We can handle your production whether it’s one room for a day or five rooms for a year. And we’ll put you up too. We have 4,000 square feet of production space and offices available by the week, month or year. That means that you and your 40 or so employees can call GTV home for the life of your program. Post production at GTV isn’t just editing. We offer compositing and animation services as well. Standard and high definition compositing using After Effects and 3D animation on Softimage are handled in house. We have designed opens and graphics packages for numerous broadcast programs, commercials and industrials. We have edited award winning features and documentaries. We have worked on Oscar contenders. Our work has won 5 Emmy awards for editing both in local and national competition. GTV’s color correction work has been seen at Sundance nearly every year since we opened our doors. |
